The Story

We are offering a unique opportunity to take a peek into the world of winemaking by showcasing the individual blending components of the final, bottled Vermentino. From the fresh and fruit-forward tank fermented portion, to the textural and creamy barrel fermented component and lastly the skin contact portion. When performing the same exercise last week, our team was amazed at how distinct each base wine was and how each component came through so clearly in the final product. Truly a unique and insightful experience we are delighted to repeat for you.

“A challenging but strong growing season has resulted in this bright, aromatic and complex wine. Displaying floral, stone fruit and sea spray aromas and a palate that is soft and smooth with a creamy undertone from the partial barrel fermentation in new French Oak. A full skin fermentation portion adds a textural minerality, saltiness, length and richness. Vegan friendly.” Winemaker’s Notes
